Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness
For our CAMO Department we are looking to engage a Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness.
The Deputy NPCA collaborates in ensuring the continued airworthiness of aircraft, for which Karen SA is responsible, according to aviation regulations and directives (NAA, FOCA, EASA, etc.) and CAME.
He/She operates in compliance with the received directives, company policies and procedures, ensuring the regularity, quality and timeliness of the actions required to perform the activities responsibly and independently.
He/She also performs work that is not listed in this JD but is nevertheless an integral part of his/her function.
He/She has the right to request and the duty to inform his/her superior and colleagues about the tasks assigned to him/her so that the work proceeds smoothly.
He/she contributes to the creation and implementation of an optimal vision, processes, procedures, strategies and logistical policies to foster and improve operational performance.
Tasks:
- Development and updating of aircraft maintenance programs.
- Drafting and updating of MEL programs.
- Drafting and updating the CAME in cooperation with the CMM and SM.
- Analysis and management of mandatory and non-mandatory AD and SB.
- Analysis and management of the manufacturer’s documentation (Maintenance Data).
- Collection, control and input into the fleet operation management system (Blueeye)
- Updating, management of aircraft schedules.
- Planning of maintenance required to maintain airworthiness.
- Issuing of Work Orders for Part-145 (MO).
- Maintenance Work Report control
- Filing of the documentation produced regarding aircraft maintenance (WO, WR, WP, etc.).
- Updating of aircraft manuals.
- Maintenance finding management and closure with Part-145 and customer.
- Relations with authorities, OEMs, Part-145 and customers.
- Technical assignment management and updating of Maintenance Records.
- Support and assist Part-145 in the execution of issued Work Orders.
- Participating in NAA audits (FOCA, etc.)
Qualifications
- Degree in aeronautical, avionics, mechanical and electronic engineering
- Other studies relating to the maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components
- Knowledge of several helicopter models acquired through recognised authority training courses (General Familiarisation) is an asset
- Minimum level of English B2
- Minimum 5 years of experience of which at least 2 in the aircraft industry
